“Sherrian has helped me manage my anxiety in several areas of my life. I have found our discussions and the techniques she shared with me on visualization, breathing, and prayers/chants very helpful during travel. I develop severe anxiety on airplanes, and having these tools really helped me manage my fears and remain in control of my mental state.

 

I have also found the various breathing and yoga postures effective for helping me manage my anxiety at work. It has really helped me keep a clear mind and be more productive, and any time I start to feel stress building up or need to take a mental break, I can rely on those techniques.

 

I have found the nostril breathing techniques helpful sometimes in dealing with insomnia I have had since becoming pregnant. When I wake up, I sometimes do not feel tired and have a hard time falling back to sleep, and my mind starts wandering…raising my energy levels and making it even more difficult to get rest. I find that focusing on that breathing allows me to concentrate on something else and it has helped me get past the anxiety and get back to sleep several times.
